Delight to find yellow wild indigos ( Baptisia sphaeroocarpa ‘Screamin Yellow’) at east end of New York. They must love a sunny spot and the sea breeze like us!

The garden has changed to the fall season with a changing in foliage color: dry seed and flower heads. But some plants are still standing out with their radiant characters. Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Variegata’

“Never think that moments spent walking round your garden are wasted time. In them the seed of inspiration may be sown, and without inspiration a garden may be pretty but lack beauty, interesting but not memorable, and disturbing rather than restful. Ideas take time to evolve and mature, and it is by sitting or walking silently that they can come flooding in.”  Rosemary Verey
